Your New Role

  • Lead on-site construction operations for water and wastewater treatment plant projects throughout Utah's Wasatch Front, generally from Salt Lake City to Spanish Fork

  • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and daily construction activities

  • Drive project execution while maintaining high standards for jobsite safety, construction quality, schedule, and productivity

  • Develop, maintain, and execute short-term construction schedules and look-ahead plans

  • Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, elevations, and project documents

  • Coordinate heavy civil scopes including structural concrete, forming, excavation and dirt work, utility piping, mechanical piping and equipment, and structural steel

  • Anticipate field challenges, solve problems quickly, and keep construction activities moving forward

  • Communicate effectively with project management, field personnel, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders

  • Develop crews and field leaders while reinforcing accountability and strong jobsite performance

  • Maintain accurate field documentation and support project coordination using construction management technology

Job requirements

  • Proven superintendent, field leadership, or closely related heavy civil construction experience

  • Direct experience with water and wastewater treatment plant construction is required

  • Demonstrated knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, sequencing, and field operations

  • Experience with relevant scopes such as structural concrete, forming, excavation, utility piping, mechanical piping and equipment, or structural steel

  • Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans, specifications, and elevations

  • Ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, schedules, materials, equipment, safety, and quality in an active construction environment

  • Strong planning, communication, leadership, and field problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated employment stability and a track record of seeing projects and responsibilities through

  • Experience level is flexible based on the depth and relevance of your water/wastewater construction background

  • Familiarity with construction management tools such as Procore and Bluebeam is a plus

  • OSHA, First Aid/AED, confined-space, and fall-protection training are beneficial but are not listed as required based on the current intake
