As a Superintendent, you will support project execution by coordinating project activities, maintaining schedule and cost alignment, and ensuring effective communication across the project team. This position actively supports day-to-day project execution while serving as a leader in the field.
You will regularly work on active construction sites, oversee installation activities, coordinate personnel and resources, and ensure project documentation, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading field operations on multiple projects
Supporting project startup, execution, completion, and closeout
Coordinating daily project activities between field personnel, engineering, vendors, and project management
Tracking schedule progress and helping resolve delays or obstacles
Monitoring manpower, production rates, project progress, and resource needs
Maintaining project documentation including daily logs, safety reports, inspections, and project records
Managing project drawing sets and documenting field changes
Preparing change request documentation and supporting project pricing activities
Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and project stakeholders
Supporting billing activities and monthly pay applications
Serving as a liaison between the General Contractor, Owner, Architect, and project team
Conducting constructability reviews with engineering and field teams
Managing equipment requirements including lifts, scaffolding, forklifts, and specialty equipment
Tracking material releases, deliveries, and consumable inventories
Leading internal project meetings and following up on action items
Monitoring project quality and punch list completion
Identifying project risks early and escalating concerns before they impact schedule or budget
Mentoring and supervising junior technicians
Supporting team development and technical growth
Promoting and enforcing all company, client, and OSHA safety requirements
Maintaining the standards, culture, and values of CML Security
Technical Responsibilities
This role requires hands-on technical expertise and field leadership.
You will be responsible for:
Installation, startup, and troubleshooting of UPS systems and related equipment
Installation, termination, testing, and commissioning of:
Network infrastructure
Control systems
Fiber optic systems
Access control systems
IP video surveillance systems
Audio and paging systems
Low-voltage cabling systems
Testing and troubleshooting integrated security systems
Utilizing specialized testing equipment including OTDRs, cable certification devices, and multimeters
Ensuring all installed systems meet project specifications and quality standards
Assisting with commissioning, testing, and system turnover activities
You are a field leader who understands both construction operations and technical security systems. You know how to organize crews, coordinate stakeholders, maintain project momentum, and solve challenges before they become major issues.
Qualified candidates should possess:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
4-6 years of low-voltage construction and installation experience
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Ability to interpret complex diagrams, schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
Experience with commercial construction environments
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
Experience with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or Adobe products
OSHA 30 certification
Required equipment operator certifications or ability to obtain them
Valid driver's license
Ability to successfully pass required background investigations

This position works in a combination of project field offices and active construction job sites while regularly interacting with Project Management, Engineering, Field Operations, vendors, subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
