Your New Role

  • Oversee daily on-site construction operations in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, and across eastern and central Michigan, depending on project location

  • Be on-site daily, typically five days per week, managing all field operations

  • Drive the construction schedule and daily progress to keep projects on track and within timeline expectations

  • Coordinate and manage approximately 15 subcontractors and multiple trades throughout each project phase

  • Supervise 20–30 workers on-site during larger construction projects

  • Manage ground-up commercial construction and renovation projects from active construction through completion

  • Identify and resolve field issues quickly to prevent delays or disruptions

  • Ensure work aligns with construction drawings, project specifications, and quality standards

  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and jobsite logistics to support efficient production

  • Maintain clear communication with subcontractors, project managers, and ownership

  • Track project progress, jobsite documentation, and field reporting

  • Enforce jobsite safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards

  • Lead site meetings, inspections, and coordination efforts to support successful project completion

Job requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, Site Superintendent, or Construction Site Supervisor

  • Strong preference for commercial construction experience

  • Residential construction experience may be considered if paired with significant commercial project exposure

  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors, trades, and on-site construction crews

  • Proven ability to drive construction schedules and keep projects on track

  • Experience with ground-up construction and renovation projects

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications

  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and field decision-making abilities

  • Solid computer skills for jobsite reporting, documentation, and communication

  • Ability to manage on-site coordination, scheduling, and construction activities daily

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Must have a personal vehicle for travel to job sites

  • Willingness to travel to project sites across Michigan and occasionally out of state

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification

  • CPR / First Aid certification
