Your New Role

As the Steel Erector Superintendent, you’ll manage and coordinate on-site steel erection projects across the eastern seaboard and the Carolinas, delivering on schedule with strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Here’s what your responsibilities will look like:

• Oversee all steel erection operations daily, directing workflows and guiding crew members
• Develop and lead a cohesive team, setting priorities and ensuring goal achievement
• Uphold high safety standards and enforce OSHA regulations on every project
• Read and interpret blueprints, managing equipment and navigating plans with precision
• Keep open lines of communication with customers, vendors, and Bowman Steel management
• Troubleshoot on-site issues, maintain inventory, and ensure smooth project execution

• Experience: 5+ years in steel erection with at least 1 year in a superintendent role
• Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, strong leadership, and team-building abilities
• Certification: Driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Safety Knowledge: In-depth understanding of OSHA regulations
• Language: English fluency (Spanish preferred for increased compensation)
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Travel: Willingness to travel extensively, primarily to the northeast
