Your New Role

As a Senior Superintendent in Phoenix, AZ (with travel within a 40-mile radius), you’ll be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay on time, on budget, and meet our high standards for quality and safety. You’ll lead teams, coordinate with key stakeholders, and be the driving force behind project success.

  • Field Operations: Lead multiple projects, ensuring safety, quality, and scheduling standards are met.

  • Project Management: Oversee budgets, timelines, and risks while maintaining accurate daily reports and progress updates.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage Project Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents, ensuring proper coordination and accountability.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with contractors, vendors, the Field Operations team, and the Quality Manager to resolve challenges and drive results.

  • Quality & Safety Compliance: Maintain strict safety planning and quality standards in collaboration with the Quality Manager.

  • Operational Oversight: Supervise job site shutdowns, contractor coordination, and site cleanliness, ensuring that materials, tools, and equipment are available for success.

Job requirements

  • Experience: 10-15 years in general construction

  • Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Technical Skills: Highly proficient in construction management software and Microsoft tools, specifically Microsoft Project

  • Project Scheduling: Project schedule creation and updates are a non-negotiable requirement of this position

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; work-related experience required

  • Certifications & License: OSHA 30 required (OSHA 10 may be considered); Valid driver’s license required

  • Work Environment: Ability to work in physically demanding conditions (hot, dusty, noisy)

  • Work Schedule: Amenable to the work schedule; Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (45-50 hours per week)
