Pay: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, skills, and qualifications

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service residential HVAC systems throughout Richmond, VA and surrounding Central Virginia communities
Perform preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections
Service air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, ductless mini-split systems, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment
Perform advanced electrical wiring diagnostics and troubleshooting
Perform advanced HVAC refrigeration diagnostics and troubleshooting
Complete same-day repairs whenever possible to maximize customer satisfaction
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, refrigerant, and performance-related issues
Conduct system performance testing, airflow evaluations, and equipment assessments
Identify maintenance needs and recommend appropriate repair solutions
Communicate findings and repair options clearly and professionally with homeowners
Complete service documentation, work orders, and job notes accurately
Follow manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and company procedures
Maintain a professional appearance and customer-focused approach during service visits
Independently manage service calls and prioritize repair needs throughout the workday
Collaborate with team members and leadership to deliver exceptional service experiences

5+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
EPA Certification required
NATE Certification preferred
Journeyman License preferred but not required
Ability to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems
Advanced electrical wiring diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
Advanced HVAC refrigeration diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
Proven ability to complete same-day repairs
Experience servicing and repairing air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, and ductless mini-split systems
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
Knowledge of HVAC maintenance, repair, and system performance best practices
Understanding of airflow, ventilation, ductwork, and indoor air quality principles
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to explain technical findings and repair recommendations clearly and professionally
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's license that meets company driving requirements
Ability to safely perform the physical duties required for residential HVAC service work
