You’ll work alongside a team focused on execution, accountability, and continuous improvement
Based in Fernley, NV, supporting operations throughout the Reno/Sparks, Nevada service area
Oversee all accounting and financial operations for a growing company
Maintain and manage accounting systems including Sage Intacct, Sigma MRP, NetSuite, or equivalent ERP platforms
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping including general ledger management, revenue tracking, and expense recording
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including:
Profit & Loss Statements
Balance Sheets
Cash Flow Forecasts
Budget vs. Actual Reports
Reconcile accounts and maintain audit-ready financial records
Manage project-based job costing and profitability reporting
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) reporting and project performance
Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to identify financial trends and opportunities
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions including invoicing, collections, and payment scheduling
Manage payroll processing, payroll tax compliance, garnishments, and employee deductions
Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to support operational needs
Support banking relationships and financing coordination
Assist leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
Support HR administration including employee records, onboarding documentation, and benefits tracking
Build and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and scalable financial systems
Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information
Support leadership with additional administrative and operational initiatives as needed

Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting best practices
Experience with job costing, manufacturing accounting, or project-based accounting environments
Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Sigma MRP, or similar platforms
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills
Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements, forecasts, and operational reports
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow
Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and financial controls
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing environment
High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
Experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or project-based industries preferred
Experience with ERP implementation or system migration preferred
