Your New Role

As a Project Manager on our Construction team, you’ll lead large-scale mechanical projects across San Antonio, TX and surrounding areas. From kickoff to completion, you’ll drive each job forward with precision, confidence, and professionalism.

  • Manage and lead Project Engineers and General Superintendents

  • Run hand-off meetings with Estimators and Engineers for new project transitions

  • Interpret blueprints, schedules, specs, and manpower needs for new projects

  • Conduct job site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality

  • Ensure critical project milestones are met on time and under budget

  • Collaborate directly with the Construction Manager for monthly project updates

  • Track hours, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and deadlines

  • Forecast manpower needs and monitor current resource allocations

  • Review and manage change orders with General Contractors

  • Attend billing meetings and internal project check-ins

  • Conduct internal quality checks and walk-throughs

  • Enforce site cleanliness, PPE compliance, and safety standards

  • Lead accountability and correction meetings for sub-standard performance

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical/plumbing project management

  • 2+ years of senior-level project management preferred

  • Background in HVAC or mechanical contracting required

  • Familiarity with construction methods and ASHRAE design principles

  • Federal construction experience; knowledge of FARS/DFARS is a plus

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specs

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); Plangrid/Procore is a plus

  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lead teams while also working independently

  • Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
