This role can serve as an entry point for candidates who are fast-tracked into welder roles based on attendance, performance, and skill progression

As a Production Helper, you’ll support the team by helping prepare materials, keeping work areas clean and organized, and moving parts and tools where they’re needed. You’ll work closely with welders, fabricators, and shift leads to keep things running smoothly in the shop.
In this role, you will:
Prepare steel parts for welding and fabrication
Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts
Operate hand and power tools in a safe and efficient way
Keep your work area clean and clear of hazards
Follow safety guidelines and wear proper protective gear
Support team members with various shop tasks as needed
Location: This is an in-person role based at our Salem, Oregon facility.
Physical Expectations:
This is a physically active role. You’ll be on your feet for most of the shift, regularly lifting up to 50 lbs, handling steel components, and working in a fast-paced, industrial shop environment with heat, noise, and tight spaces.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production setting is a plus
Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
Able to follow safety protocols and work in a busy shop environment
Experience with forklifts or pallet jacks is helpful, but not required
Willingness to learn and be part of a team
