Lead and supervise mobile fleet maintenance operations in Mullan, ID
Work a schedule typically consisting of 10 to 12 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with a rotating weekend based on business needs
Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, and emergency breakdown response
Coordinate with maintenance planners and operations to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency
Manage and direct maintenance crews, assigning work orders and ensuring performance standards are met
Oversee contract maintenance work both on-site and off-site
Ensure accurate CMMS documentation, including work orders, timecards, and reporting
Monitor spare parts inventory to ensure availability and minimize downtime
Enforce high standards of safety, quality, and productivity across all maintenance activities
Participate in risk assessments, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives
Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure reliability and compliance
Lead by example in MSHA compliance, environmental responsibility, and company policies

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
3–5+ years of maintenance experience in mining, heavy equipment, or similar environments
Experience working with underground or surface mining equipment
Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance programs and equipment lifecycle management
Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and handle high-pressure situations
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
MSHA 40-hour certification (or ability to obtain)
ATF possessor clearance required
Ability to pass a physical exam and drug screening
