You know how to diagnose tough HVAC problems, make the right repairs, and keep a job site moving, and this role gives you the opportunity to put that experience to work while helping lead the team.
Earn $70,000 to $120,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
Work a full time Monday through Friday schedule, approximately 7:30 AM to 4:00 or 4:30 PM.
Receive time and a half overtime pay when jobs require additional hours.
Enjoy no routine weekend work.
Earn additional performance based pay equal to 5 percent on qualifying new HVAC equipment sales.

A company vehicle may be assigned after a successful field evaluation. Company vehicles remain at the company facility and are not take home vehicles.

Report each day to the company warehouse in the Harahan and Elmwood area before traveling to assigned job sites.
Diagnose, service, repair, maintain, and install residential HVAC systems throughout New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, and Mandeville, Louisiana.
Lead technicians and installers on assigned HVAC job sites.
Serve as the primary job site contact and help keep projects organized and on schedule.
Make sure HVAC work is performed safely, professionally, and according to company standards and applicable local codes.
Explain system concerns, repair options, and recommendations clearly to homeowners.
Perform final quality inspections before projects are completed.
Verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship meet company standards.
Accurately complete job documentation, photos, invoices, and reports using company software.
Keep job sites organized and professional.
Train and mentor junior HVAC technicians and apprentices.
Properly care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Recognize appropriate opportunities for HVAC equipment replacement or system improvements when those solutions genuinely benefit the customer.
Represent Chill Out A/C & Heating with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service.

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of professional HVAC service, diagnostics, repair, and installation experience.
EPA Certification required.
HVAC State License preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license.
Strong skills in HVAC diagnostics, troubleshooting, service, repair, and installation.
Experience leading HVAC technicians or overseeing job sites.
Ability to accurately complete job documentation using company software.
Ability to safely lift equipment and perform HVAC work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and other job site environments.
Commitment to following established safety procedures and applicable local codes.
HVAC trade license is a plus.
Electrical or construction experience is a plus.
