Fabricate, assemble, install, maintain, and repair HVAC ductwork and sheet metal components
Work with square duct, spiral duct, fittings, and related HVAC sheet metal systems
Measure, cut, form, fit, and assemble sheet metal to project specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and layouts
Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and sheet metal equipment safely and accurately
Inspect completed work for proper fit, quality, and compliance with project requirements
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to keep work moving efficiently
Follow jobsite procedures, applicable codes, and employer safety requirements
Complete required project or work documentation accurately

Minimum 3 years of professional sheet metal or HVAC ductwork experience
Hands-on experience fabricating, assembling, installing, maintaining, or repairing HVAC ductwork and sheet metal components
Experience measuring, cutting, forming, fitting, and assembling sheet metal
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and layouts
Ability to competently use sheet metal hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and related equipment
Working knowledge of commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal installation practices
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Ability to perform the essential physical functions of sheet metal work, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in indoor, outdoor, construction, and fabrication environments as required by the opportunity
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record when driving is an essential function of the specific position
Required licenses, certifications, or continuing education must be maintained when applicable to the specific opportunity
EPA certification may be preferred for opportunities involving HVAC service responsibilities
