Hourly Rate: $50–$60/hour (based on qualifications and experience)

Full-time, permanent role with consistent hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM

As a Journeyman Distribution Lineman, you’ll be out in the field working overhead and underground distribution lines in and around Horn Lake, MS (Greater Memphis, TN area). You’ll be the go-to person for high-level troubleshooting, repair, installation, and guidance of less experienced crew members.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace overhead/underground distribution systems and gear
Follow switching orders, conduct system inspections, and ensure job site safety
Operate and maintain specialized equipment
Organize crews, permits, and materials for jobs
Train apprentices and work closely with team members to meet project goals
Work in all weather conditions and travel when needed for emergency power restoration

High school diploma or GED
Minimum 4 years' experience with underground and overhead distribution systems
Valid CDL-A with no restrictions
Clean driving record
Ability to travel for storm recovery and emergency power outages
Physically fit to climb poles, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in extreme outdoor conditions
Must pass pre-employment, random, and post-accident drug and alcohol screening
Preferred
Completion of a formal apprenticeship or technical lineman program
Strong background in troubleshooting and operating specialized utility equipment
