Your New Role

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems

• Perform HVAC service, maintenance, and installation work

• Design, fabricate, and install ductwork and duct fittings as needed

• Install HVAC equipment with minimal supervision

• Educate customers on system performance, repair options, and upgrade opportunities

• Recommend HVAC solutions that improve comfort, efficiency, and system reliability

• Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams

• Complete service tickets, work orders, and required documentation accurately and on time

• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked work vehicle

• Follow company processes, service procedures, and safety standards

• Train and mentor HVAC helpers when appropriate

• Participate in ongoing technical and professional training

• Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction

• Maintain a professional appearance and represent Roadrunner Plumbing & Air standards at all times

• Execute work with attention to detail while leaving customer homes clean and respected

• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve company goals

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC sales, service, and installation experience

• Current TDLR Certification required

• OSHA 10 Certification in Construction Safety and Health is required

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

• Strong HVAC troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and installation skills

• Knowledge of residential heating, ventilation, air conditioning, indoor air quality, and duct systems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field

• Ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift heavy objects as required

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures

• Ability to work around gas lines, fumes, and other job-site hazards while following safety protocols

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check, consistent with applicable laws

• Authorized to work in the United States
