Your New Role: Commercial installing HVAC Technician

You’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality HVAC solutions for commercial remodel and new construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Installation: Install and route refrigerant lines, condensate piping, and other HVAC equipment for split systems, rooftop units, and more.

• Wiring/Controls: Set up and configure HVAC control systems, including programmable thermostats and basic building automation components.

• Startup and Commissioning: Perform safety checks, pressure testing, and performance verification during system startups.

• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and execute from blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

• Team Leadership: Supervise a small team of technicians and apprentices to ensure quality and project milestones.

• Training and Mentorship: Mentor less experienced team members to enhance skills and uphold best practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); HVAC certification or technical degree (preferred).

• Proven experience of 10+ years performing commercial HVAC installations, especially in remodels and new construction projects.

• Valid HVAC Technician license (if required by state).

• EPA certification for refrigerants.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, especially in a commercial setting.

• Leadership or team supervision experience (preferred).

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.

• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
