Your New Role

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled service visits

• Respond to service calls and identify efficient, long-lasting solutions for customers

• Recommend repair and replacement options based on system performance and customer needs

• Service and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and related HVAC equipment

• Install and replace HVAC components as needed

• Verify system performance, efficiency, and safe operation following repairs and maintenance

• Follow all company safety procedures and EPA regulations related to refrigerants and HVAC equipment

• Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and work orders

• Communicate clearly with customers and team members to ensure a positive service experience

• Work independently while representing Comfort Air Mechanical with professionalism and integrity

• Travel to customer locations throughout Cortez, Colorado, and the surrounding Four Corners region

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience preferred

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to efficiently identify and resolve HVAC system issues

• Experience performing HVAC maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance on residential and/or light commercial systems

• Knowledge of HVAC system operation, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and refrigeration components

• EPA Certification or the ability to obtain certification

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work orders

• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations throughout the service area

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Technical training, apprenticeship completion, or HVAC certification preferred

• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as required for the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments while following company safety procedures

• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company standards

• Strong verbal communication and documentation skills
