Your New Role

Location: Grass Valley, CA

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and indoor air quality equipment

• Assist with system replacements, equipment upgrades, and retrofit projects

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on HVAC equipment

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system performance issues

• Complete startup, testing, and verification procedures to ensure proper system operation

• Follow manufacturer specifications, company standards, and local building codes during all installations and service work

• Utilize ServiceTitan mobile software to document services performed, materials used, and customer interactions

• Maintain accurate job documentation and service records

• Communicate findings, recommendations, and repair options clearly to customers

• Maintain a clean and organized work area at customer sites and company facilities

• Stay current on HVAC technologies, equipment, and industry best practices through ongoing training

• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing BAEHR Heating & Air professionally

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC installation, service, maintenance, or related field experience

• Technical school certification in HVAC technology preferred

• EPA 608 Certification preferred (training available if needed)

• Valid driver's license

• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software preferred

• Working knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems

• Ability to perform HVAC equipment installations, repairs, maintenance, and system startups

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, installation instructions, and equipment specifications

• Familiarity with HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to lift and maneuver 50+ pounds

• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces as needed

• Ability to travel throughout the service territory

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to participate in ongoing technical, sales, and professional development training
