Your New Role

Location: Austin, TX 78738

• Lead HVAC installation projects from start to finish

• Install residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, ductwork, indoor air quality products, and HVAC accessories

• Coordinate with builders, project managers, and other trades on active construction sites

• Read and interpret plans, layouts, and installation specifications

• Mentor and support apprentice and junior installers

• Ensure all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local code requirements

• Perform startup procedures and system commissioning

• Troubleshoot installation challenges and field-related issues

• Maintain organized jobsites, vehicles, tools, inventory, and installation materials

• Complete installation documentation and project paperwork

• Represent HVAC Cowboys professionally on every project

• Serve homeowners and builders throughout Austin, Westlake, Driftwood, Dripping Springs, Marble Falls, Bee Cave, Lakeway, Spicewood, Llano, and surrounding Central Texas communities

• Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading HVAC installation projects or crews

• Strong understanding of HVAC installation best practices

• Ability to read plans, layouts, and installation specifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions

• Ability to regularly lift up to 75 pounds

• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights

• Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and bend for extended periods

• EPA Universal Certification preferred

• NATE Certification preferred

• Experience with custom home construction, high-performance HVAC systems, heat pumps, or inverter technology preferred
