Your New Role

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems with a high level of accuracy in Salem, OR

  • Organize and manage employee files, ensuring compliance with document retention standards

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and exit procedures

  • Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs, coordinating interviews, and assisting with candidate communication

  • Track attendance and leave records while routing documentation and employee questions appropriately

  • Assist with benefits administration, including employee communications and enrollment tracking

  • Respond to employee HR inquiries and ensure timely follow-up and resolution

  • Maintain strict confidentiality with all employee and company information

  • Assist with employee relations documentation and escalate complex matters as needed

  • Provide backup support for front desk operations, including phones and visitor coordination

Job requirements

  • Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience with 3 to 5 years in HR support or administrative roles

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Experience with HRIS systems such as QuickBooks or NetSuite is preferred

  • High attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, and employee record management

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as typing
