Annual Salary: $52,000–$62,400
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pacific
Workweek: 40 hours/week

This isn’t a “stay in your lane” job. You’ll flex your HR muscles while getting into the accounting and payroll side of things.

You’ll own the day-to-day operations of HR while backing up accounting and payroll processes when needed. About 70% of your time will be focused on HR functions, with the rest split across accounting, payroll, and office support.
Location: Salem, OR
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead onboarding/offboarding, administer benefits, and manage 401(k) plans.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws.
Run recruitment efforts from job postings to interviews using an ATS.
Provide backup for accounts payable, receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll.
Cover the front desk when needed—phones, visitors, mail, and basic admin duties.

Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred) in HR, Business, or Accounting
3–5 years of HR experience with exposure to accounting and/or payroll
Strong working knowledge of HR laws, practices, and procedures
Familiar with accounting software (Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks) and HRIS platforms
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
Must pass background check and drug test
Bonus Points For:
Experience in a construction or manufacturing environment
Prior benefits administration background
SHRM-CP, PHR, CPP, or bookkeeping certification
