Operate and maintain steam and hot water boiler systems within the scope of a Maryland Grade 4 Stationary Engineer License in Millersville, Maryland
Monitor system performance and conduct routine inspections of boilers, burners, feedwater systems, valves, and safety devices
Perform equipment startup, shutdown, and operational adjustments according to established procedures
Follow Maryland Boiler Safety regulations and applicable local requirements
Record operating data, readings, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately
Assist with preventive maintenance tasks and mechanical troubleshooting
Respond to equipment alarms, operational concerns, and service requests
Support the operation of pumps, motors, heat exchangers, and associated mechanical systems
Work within commercial, industrial, healthcare, and government facilities

Active Grade 4 Stationary Engineer License in the State of Maryland
1 to 3 years of experience operating boiler systems or similar mechanical equipment
Knowledge of steam systems, hydronic systems, boiler controls, and related mechanical operations
Ability to interpret gauges, operating logs, and technical documentation
Strong attention to safety procedures, accuracy, and recordkeeping
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in mechanical rooms and high temperature environments
Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on call assignments
Preferred:
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Experience in government, healthcare, industrial, or large commercial facilities
Familiarity with water treatment systems and basic chemical testing methods
Exposure to HVAC equipment or general building maintenance operations
Ability to diagnose issues and support multiple types of mechanical systems and equipment
