Hourly pay ranging from $30 to $43 based on experience

Operate, monitor, and maintain steam and hot water boiler systems within Grade 4 license limits in Millersville, Maryland
Perform daily inspections of boilers, burners, feedwater systems, valves, and safety controls
Start up, shut down, and adjust equipment following established procedures
Ensure compliance with Maryland Boiler Safety regulations and local codes
Maintain accurate logs, readings, and operational records
Perform preventive maintenance and assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues
Respond to alarms, system issues, and service calls as needed
Support operation of pumps, motors, heat exchangers, and related equipment
Work across a variety of facilities including commercial, industrial, healthcare, and government environments

Active Grade 4 Stationary Engineer License in the State of Maryland
1 to 3 years of experience operating boilers or similar systems
Working knowledge of steam systems, hydronic systems, and boiler controls
Ability to read gauges, logs, and mechanical documentation
Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and documentation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in mechanical rooms or high heat environments
Availability for varied shifts including nights, weekends, and on call rotation
Experience working in government, healthcare, industrial, or large commercial facilities
Familiarity with water treatment systems and basic chemical testing procedures
Exposure to HVAC systems or broader building maintenance operations
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Ability to troubleshoot and support multiple types of mechanical equipment
