Location: Salem, Oregon
Review RFQs, technical drawings, and project specifications
Perform detailed material takeoffs for steel fabrication and utility structures
Request and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors
Develop complete cost estimates including labor, materials, and overhead
Apply pricing strategies that support both competitiveness and company goals
Coordinate with project managers and internal teams to meet deadlines
Participate in estimate reviews as needed
Maintain and update cost databases to improve accuracy and efficiency

At least 3 years of estimating experience, preferably in steel fabrication or utility-related industries
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple bids and produce accurate, client-ready estimates
Strong organizational and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors
