Your New Role

  • Lead and supervise electrical maintenance operations in Mullan, ID

  • Direct daily activities of mine electricians, ensuring safe and efficient work practices

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventative maintenance and emergency electrical repairs

  • Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations, company policies, and safety standards

  • Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems including power distribution, motors, transformers, PLCs, and instrumentation

  • Coordinate with mine operations, contractors, and maintenance teams to meet production goals

  • Monitor system performance and adjust priorities to maintain uptime and reliability

  • Review and manage work orders, reports, and maintenance documentation

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate electrical team members

  • Support risk assessments, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Oversee electrical projects and ensure quality execution from start to finish

  • Adapt to scheduling changes based on operational demands with appropriate notice

Job requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in mining, industrial electrical, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Previous experience supervising or leading electrical teams

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, PLCs, motors, and instrumentation

  • Ability to troubleshoot, inspect, test, and repair complex electrical systems

  • Familiarity with MSHA regulations and industrial safety standards

  • Journeyman Electrician license in Idaho or reciprocal state preferred

  • Experience working in underground mining environments preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
