  • Compensation: $35–$45/hour base pay, with additional performance-based earning opportunities; total income will vary based on results

  • Hiring Incentive: Up to $5,000 bonus (paid in two installments: 50% after 90 days, 50% after 180 days)

Your New Role

You’ll represent Potts Electric across the St. Louis Metro area (based out of Fenton, MO), meeting directly with homeowners to deliver custom solutions for their electrical needs. From consultation to close, you’ll be the trusted advisor who guides clients to the right choice.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site consultations to understand customer needs

  • Offer personalized solutions and explain project options clearly

  • Create and present accurate, professional estimates

  • Manage follow-ups and maintain communication throughout the customer journey

  • Collaborate with office and installation teams to ensure seamless project handoffs

  • Keep accurate records and contribute feedback to improve processes

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in residential electrical sales (HVAC, solar, or roofing sales are not equivalent)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Confident presenting solutions and closing in-person deals

  • Familiar with ServiceTitan or similar CRM/estimating platforms

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Self-driven, coachable, and excited to work in a performance-focused environment
