Your New Role

As an Electrical Foreman, you’ll supervise up to 10 employees on job sites in Salt Lake City, UT, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and up to quality standards. You’ll take charge of everything from scheduling and materials coordination to mentoring your team and solving on-site challenges. You’ll coordinate closely with project supervisors, other trades, and your crew to keep everything running smooth and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations and productivity of journeymen and apprentices

  • Lead layout coordination and installation in compliance with project specs and the NEC

  • Plan, order, and manage materials, tools, and equipment for efficient job site workflow

  • Conduct daily/weekly safety meetings and ensure compliance with all safety protocols

  • Monitor quality control, troubleshoot issues, and solve problems in real time

  • Maintain daily field reports, as-builts, and accurate documentation

  • Coordinate with other trades and ensure job site professionalism at all times

Job requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 4 years of documented experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and schedules

  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

  • Ability to lead teams, coach apprentices, and maintain high morale

  • Experience in material coordination, layout, and productivity monitoring

  • Completion of Ludvik Leader I and II preferred

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
