Your New Role

• Produce detailed electrical, civil, and structural drawings for power engineering projects in Salem, OR

• Create and update system layouts, electrical schematics, and structural designs

• Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related drafting software to deliver accurate project drawings

• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers to meet project requirements

• Ensure drawings align with applicable standards, specifications, and client needs

• Maintain organized project documentation and conduct quality reviews

• Support ongoing improvements to drafting and design processes

• At least 2 years of experience in design and drafting within a utility, power engineering, or engineering environment

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks

• Working knowledge of power engineering systems, including substations, transmission, relay protection, and structural components

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Associate’s degree in drafting, design, or a related field preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is a plus
