Your New Role

• Create detailed electrical, civil, and structural drawings for power engineering projects in Salem, Oregon

• Develop and revise system layouts, electrical schematics, and structural designs

• Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related drafting software to produce accurate project drawings

• Work alongside engineers, designers, and project managers to meet project goals

• Ensure all drawings meet applicable standards, specifications, and client requirements

• Maintain organized project documentation and perform quality checks

• Contribute to improvements in drafting and design processes

• At least 2 years of experience in design and drafting within a utility, power engineering, or related engineering environment

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks

• Working knowledge of power engineering systems such as substations, transmission systems, relay protection, and structural components

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Associate’s degree in drafting, design, or a related field preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is a plus
