Work on a wide variety of power engineering and utility design projects
Collaborate closely with engineers and project teams who prioritize clear communication

Create detailed electrical, civil, and structural drawings for power engineering projects in Salem, Oregon
Develop and revise system layouts, electrical schematics, and structural designs
Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related drafting software to produce accurate project drawings
Work alongside engineers, designers, and project managers to meet project goals
Ensure all drawings meet applicable standards, specifications, and client requirements
Maintain organized project documentation and perform quality checks
Contribute to improvements in drafting and design processes

At least 2 years of experience in design and drafting within a utility, power engineering, or related engineering environment
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Working knowledge of power engineering systems such as substations, transmission systems, relay protection, and structural components
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Associate’s degree in drafting, design, or a related field preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is a plus
