Your New Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the face and voice of RKM, ensuring every customer interaction is handled with professionalism and care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling customer inquiries through phone, text, and email
  • Scheduling and coordinating all incoming maintenance requests
  • Managing the CSR tracking board and organizing the filing system
  • Overseeing Maintenance Agreements, including billing, scheduling, and renewals
  • Updating customer records with service agreements, equipment details, and warranties
  • Preparing service agreement proposals for new clients
  • Maintaining customer histories in our database
  • Supporting new CSR staff onboarding and updating procedures
  • Assisting technicians with service call debriefs when needed

Job requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years in customer service (HVAC or skilled trades experience is a plus)
  • Engaging Personality: Enjoys connecting with customers and ensuring satisfaction
  • Tech Skills: Familiar with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
  • Phone Skills: Professional phone etiquette and selling skills
  • Communication: Strong verbal skills, active listening, and organized note-taking
  • Admin Abilities: Experience with office procedures, account management, and documentation
  • Multi-tasking: Comfortable with multi-line phone systems and juggling priorities
  • Critical Thinker: Able to analyze situations and problem-solve efficiently
  • Language: Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Compliance: Able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
