Your New Role

As a Commercial HVAC Estimator, you’ll:

Analyze project plans, specs, and site conditions to develop detailed and accurate cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers and engineers on comprehensive project proposals
Quantify cost factors like materials, labor, and production time for competitive bids
Present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy
Review quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to refine project costs
Stay informed on industry trends, codes, and best practices to enhance project success
Assist with contract and change order negotiations, tracking project costs and reporting progress

Job requirements

5-7 years of HVAC estimating experience, preferably in a commercial setting
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation methods
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to job sites as needed
