What You’ll Do

• Install commercial doors, hollow metal frames, and architectural finish hardware according to project specifications.

• Perform commercial metal stud framing and drywall installation.

• Install acoustical ceiling grids and ceiling tile systems.

• Read and interpret construction blueprints, shop drawings, and installation instructions.

• Measure, cut, prepare, and install materials accurately.

• Ensure doors, frames, and hardware are properly aligned, secured, and functioning.

• Coordinate daily activities with field supervisors and other construction trades.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

• Complete assigned installations according to project schedules and quality standards.

• Travel to commercial job sites throughout the Philadelphia Tri-State area using a company-provided vehicle.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on commercial carpentry experience.

• Experience installing commercial doors, hollow metal frames, and architectural hardware.

• Working knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall systems, and acoustical ceiling installation.

• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and installation drawings.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Trade school education or vocational training preferred.

• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

• CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physical tasks in active construction environments.

• Strong measuring, installation, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a construction crew.
