Your New Role

  • Manage and release work orders in alignment with production schedules in Salem, OR

  • Create and maintain purchase orders for materials, equipment, and supplies

  • Track deliveries and ensure on-time material availability

  • Maintain accurate records of all purchasing and inventory transactions

  • Support project setup including order entry, file creation, and timeline coordination

  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts

  • Coordinate with vendors to support sourcing, pricing, and lead times

  • Assist with estimating and cost tracking to support project accuracy

  • Participate in scheduling meetings and cross-department coordination

  • Support vendor development and maintain strong supplier relationships

  • Prepare reports related to pricing trends and material costs

  • Provide logistics and technical support to internal teams and customers

Job requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or material planning within utility, telecommunications, or related industries

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Oracle is preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication skills with vendors, customers, and internal teams

  • Ability to interpret specifications, RFQs, and project schedules

  • Basic math skills and cost analysis understanding

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform computer-based work
