Your New Role

As an Accountant, you’ll ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. You’ll oversee key operational accounting tasks while working closely with our team to keep things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer billing, lien waivers, collections, and profitability analysis

• Vendor invoice management, payments, and account reconciliation

• General ledger tasks, including journal entries and control analysis

• Preparing reconciliations, monthly/yearly financial statements, and reports

• Handling weekly payroll processing in QuickBooks and ADP, including certified payroll reports

• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings

• Reviewing data for accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring deadlines are met

• Supporting tax reviews and other accounting projects as assigned

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of operational accounting/GAAP experience

• Intermediate-level QuickBooks proficiency (Construction ERP preferred)

• 3+ years in construction industry accounting (Lien Waivers, WIP, and Job Costing knowledge required)

• Accounts Payable/Receivable experience with automated processing

• Payroll processing experience (ADP knowledge preferred)

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivots, VLOOKUPs, and formulas)

• Proven ability to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

Soft Skills:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Exceptional communication skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders

• Solutions-oriented, dependable, and professional demeanor

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
