What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed commercial construction estimates

• Review plans, specifications, scopes, and bid documents

• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis

• Use PlanSwift and Bluebeam to develop accurate bids

• Solicit, compare, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing

• Partner with project managers to build and manage project budgets

• Review change orders, contracts, and scopes for cost accuracy

• Maintain organized bid files and estimating records

• Identify new commercial construction opportunities

• Visit local job sites as needed

What You Need

• 5 to 10 years of construction experience with estimating responsibilities

• Commercial construction estimating experience preferred

• PlanSwift experience required

• Bluebeam experience preferred

• Strong understanding of takeoffs, bidding, cost analysis, and construction methods

• Ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and priorities

• Strong communication, negotiation, and organization skills

• Louisville subcontractor market knowledge is a plus

• Field construction experience is a plus
