Work as a Welder/Fitter in Salem, Oregon fabricating structural steel components for utility and telecom projects
Interpret detailed blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications
Cut, fit, and weld steel using GMAW spray transfer and other welding processes
Perform plasma cutting and oxy/fuel cutting
Fabricate fixtures and specialized components
Inspect finished work to ensure quality and AWS standards compliance
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Assist with equipment maintenance and general shop operations
Work on your feet for extended periods in a fast-paced industrial setting
Lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds

High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 3 years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Proficiency in GMAW spray transfer welding
Experience with FCAW welding applications
Strong knowledge of structural layout and fabrication tools
Familiarity with AWS D1.1 Visual Acceptance Criteria
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Skilled in using layout tools and fabrication equipment
Solid math skills including geometry and measurements
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in physically demanding shop conditions including heat, noise, and confined spaces
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
Willingness to complete a written skills assessment and hands-on welding test
