Direct support from experienced leadership
Work with quality engineered steel products serving the Utility and Telecommunications industries

Receive incoming materials and shipments from vendors
Inspect deliveries and report shortages, discrepancies, and receiving issues to supervisors
Label incoming materials with job numbers, purchase orders, and part numbers
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock checks
Monitor raw material inventory, stock levels, and material availability
Pull, organize, and track materials being sent to outside vendors
Pull, mark, and stage materials for production projects
Communicate material shortages and inventory needs to purchasing personnel
Update stock information and inventory records as required
Receive and process galvanized materials for shipment or inventory
Verify completed shop products are staged according to project and galvanizing requirements
Assist in packaging materials and completed orders for shipment
Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
Operate forklifts and various warehouse equipment and tools
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
Load, pack, wrap, and label parts, materials, pallets, and skids
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and receiving documentation
Communicate material status updates with shop personnel and supervisors
Maintain organization of the warehouse, yard, and inventory storage areas
Occasionally make pickups and deliveries using company vehicles
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow established procedures, safety requirements, rules, and regulations
Assist with warehouse and shop operations as needed
Support additional projects assigned by leadership

High school diploma or GED equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, material handling, logistics, or a manufacturing environment
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Basic mathematics skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions
Ability to understand and work with purchase orders, specifications, schedules, lead times, and inventory requirements
Strong organizational and planning skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Active listening skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing schedules
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Ability to maintain professional working relationships with coworkers, vendors, and customers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work with tight deadlines and changing priorities
Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
Ability to regularly lift and move materials throughout a warehouse and manufacturing environment
Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
Forklift certification or forklift experience is preferred
Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, logistics, or manufacturing is helpful
Experience with inventory tracking and material management is a plus
Knowledge of the Utility or Telecommunications industries is a plus
Demonstrates reliable attendance and punctuality consistent with company expectations
