Job description

Yellowstone Local is proud to represent CML Security, an industry leader in security and low-voltage systems.

What's in it for You?

  • Opportunity to lead and manage multiple projects based on project needs

  • Hands-on leadership role combining field expertise with project coordination

  • Opportunity to mentor junior technicians and develop the next generation of skilled professionals

  • Take ownership of projects from startup through completion and closeout

  • Work directly with Project Management, Field Operations, Engineering, subcontractors, vendors, general contractors, architects, owners, and other project stakeholders

  • Join a team that puts a high standard on safety, quality, accountability, communication, and professional development

  • Build deeper expertise through certifications from manufacturers and industry organizations such as Bosch, Genetec, Corning, and BICSI

  • Coordinate constructability reviews with field personnel, Engineering, and other project team members

  • Plan for and coordinate job-site equipment such as scissor lifts, scaffolding, forklifts, and aerial lifts

  • Order and manage consumable materials

  • Serve as a liaison between CML Security, the General Contractor, Architect, Owner, and project stakeholders

  • Install, start up, and troubleshoot UPS systems and associated components

  • Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair conductors, cabling, network systems, control systems, IP video systems, access control systems, audio systems, and associated field devices

  • Use specialized testing equipment, including OTDR fiber optic testers, Cat6 cable certifiers, multimeters, and volt-ohmmeters

  • Mentor and supervise junior technicians performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work

  • Ensure safety procedures, reporting requirements, and PPE standards comply with OSHA, General Contractor, CML Security, and project-specific requirements

  • Work safely in active construction environments that may include moving equipment, noise, dust, uneven surfaces, ladders, stairs, outdoor conditions, and secured or correctional facilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned
