Directly contribute to the success of a mission-critical project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
This full-time, on-site position places you at the center of a major roofing and timber truss replacement project at Red River Army Depot, located near 100 Armory Rd in New Boston, TX 75570, and surrounding areas. You'll be instrumental in managing all aspects of safety while ensuring compliance, team coordination, and hazard mitigation on an active federal construction site.
Champion and enforce the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) in line with EM 385-1-1 standards
Conduct daily site safety inspections, correct deficiencies, maintain logs, and coordinate with the site team and Contracting Officer
Train crews, enforce PPE standards, lead emergency response plans, and manage incident investigations
Support project-specific monitoring including air sampling, PPE compliance, decontamination, and more

5+ years of experience in construction safety management
30-hour OSHA certification
USACE 40-Hour EM 385-1-1 training
First Aid & CPR certification
Experience with Corps of Engineers projects
Competent Person in Fall Protection
Nice-to-Haves
Degree in Construction Safety or related field
Trade background in construction is a strong plus
Experience in large roofing and timber truss projects
