Fabricate, install, and modify sheet metal ductwork and fittings for residential HVAC systems
Read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and mechanical plans to ensure accurate fabrication and installation
Cut, bend, shape, and assemble sheet metal components using hand tools, power tools, brakes, shears, and fabrication equipment
Coordinate with HVAC installers, lead technicians, and project managers to complete projects efficiently and accurately
Inspect completed ductwork installations for quality, proper airflow, seal integrity, and code compliance
Troubleshoot and resolve sheet metal and ductwork issues on existing HVAC systems when needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on job sites and in company vehicles
Mentor apprentices and helpers while promoting quality workmanship and professional standards
Represent Pack-Timco professionally when interacting with homeowners, customers, and job site personnel
Support residential HVAC installation projects with a focus on efficiency, precision, and customer satisfaction

High school diploma or equivalent required
Vocational training, trade school education, or sheet metal apprenticeship preferred
Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC sheet metal fabrication and installation experience required
Strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork fabrication, installation, and modification
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, brakes, shears, and sheet metal fabrication equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and installation layouts
Knowledge of residential HVAC systems, airflow principles, and duct design best practices
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, confined spaces, and varying job site conditions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Valid driver's license
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Authorized to work in the United States
