Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components, including ducts, fittings, flashing, housings, and custom parts in Bronx, NY, servicing projects across Manhattan
Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using shears, brakes, rolls, and other fabrication equipment
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC ductwork systems to ensure proper airflow, sealing, and code compliance
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to plan fabrication and installation tasks
Perform layout work and calculate material requirements for sheet metal projects
Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with building codes and company standards
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and operational condition
Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites as needed
Coordinate with HVAC technicians and other trades on multi-trade projects
Document completed work and materials used while maintaining accurate reports

Completion of a recognized sheet metal apprenticeship program or equivalent journey level experience in sheet metal fabrication and HVAC ductwork
Strong proficiency with sheet metal tools and equipment, including layout, cutting, forming, and joining techniques
Working knowledge of HVAC ductwork systems, including installation, modification, and repair
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards
Experience with fabrication using galvanized steel, aluminum, or stainless steel preferred
Familiarity with SMACNA standards preferred
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
Experience working in municipal, government, or institutional facilities environments preferred
