Your New Role

Located in Glendora, CA (91741), your role as a Service Manager/Trainer will center on elevating service technicians into high-performance professionals. You’ll guide new talent through structured training, mentor them in the field, and align team performance with revenue goals.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading technician training programs using NexTech Academy and our LMS

• Managing onboarding, development, and evaluations for technicians and field mentors

• Coaching on sales, customer rapport, and service optimization

• Tracking technician performance and conducting improvement-focused ride-alongs

• Collaborating with department heads, marketing, and vendors to enhance the program

• 1+ years of Skilled Trade Trainer experience

• Proven experience training or coaching in a service-based industry (home services preferred)

• Solid understanding of sales strategy and performance metrics

• Comfortable with LMS systems and structured training programs

• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to coach both in the classroom and in the field (ride-alongs)

• Organizational skills to manage multiple technician development tracks simultaneously
