Yellowstone Local is seeking motivated Service Apprentices / Helpers for opportunities with respected plumbing and home service companies in San Antonio, Selma, and surrounding areas in Texas.

Your New Role

• Work as a Service Apprentice / Helper throughout San Antonio, Selma, and surrounding areas in Texas

• Ride and work alongside experienced service plumbers on residential plumbing service calls

• Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, service, and repair of residential plumbing systems

• Help diagnose leaks, clogged drains, water pressure problems, fixture issues, water heater concerns, and other common plumbing problems

• Assist with repairing and replacing faucets, toilets, fixtures, piping, drains, water lines, water heaters, and related plumbing components

• Prepare and organize tools, parts, materials, and equipment needed for service calls

• Learn proper plumbing diagnostic, repair, maintenance, and service procedures

• Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety procedures, company standards, and instructions from supervising plumbers

• Communicate professionally with customers, plumbers, dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members

• Keep service vehicles, tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized

• Attend training classes and seminars to continue developing your plumbing service and repair knowledge

• Work overtime when required based on service and scheduling needs

• Current Texas Plumber's Apprentice registration required

• Valid driver's license required

• Good driving record required

• Must have your own hand tools

• Ability and willingness to work overtime when needed

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively alongside experienced service plumbers

• Willingness to participate in ongoing plumbing training and professional development

• Ability to safely use plumbing hand tools, power tools, and service equipment appropriate to your experience level

• Ability to maintain tools, equipment, service vehicles, and work areas in a neat and professional condition

• Strong communication, reliability, attention to detail, and follow-through

• Professional approach when working in customers' homes and interacting with homeowners

• Interest in developing hands-on skills in residential plumbing service, plumbing repair, troubleshooting, maintenance, drain systems, fixtures, piping, and water heaters
