Senior HVAC Service Technician

• The base compensation is $62,000-$100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus performance-based earning opportunities

• Starting base of approximately $30 per hour

Your New Role

• Work out of Mink Plumbing's Tyler, Texas location

• Report to the office each workday before heading into the field

• Run HVAC sales and service opportunities independently once training is complete

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate HVAC solutions

• Sell and install the HVAC work you generate

• Perform professional HVAC system installations with a focus on quality workmanship

• Communicate clearly with homeowners throughout the sales and installation process

• Follow a consistent HVAC sales process and track measurable sales performance

• Take ownership of revenue production and weekly performance

• Work independently in the field with additional installation support available when needed

• Help establish and grow Mink Plumbing's HVAC department

• Participate in a future rotating on-call schedule, potentially beginning after approximately 90 days

• Be the first dedicated HVAC hire, working closely with the company president to help establish, shape, and grow the HVAC department from the ground up

• 5+ years of professional HVAC experience preferred, with strong hands-on experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, servicing, and installing HVAC systems

• HVAC sales experience preferred

• Ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and install HVAC systems

• Class B license is a strong advantage and may influence starting compensation

• Basic hand tools

• Strong customer communication skills and ability to recommend appropriate HVAC solutions

• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Willingness to participate in a future rotating on-call schedule
