Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and attentive to customer needs.
- Conduct routine service and maintenance on residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
- Perform safety evaluations during service calls to ensure the safe operation of HVAC equipment.
- Present various service and repair options to customers, explaining the benefits and costs associated with each.
- Effectively communicate the condition of the HVAC system to the homeowner, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Repair or replace defective components and parts as necessary, ensuring the proper functioning of the system.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service details and equipment condition.
- Collaborate with the Comfort Advisor to recommend system upgrades or replacements when needed.
- Keep up-to-date on industry developments and new technologies to provide the best service and options to customers.
HVAC Service Technician would typically perform, emphasizing customer interaction, safety evaluations, and the ability to transition leads to a Comfort Advisor II when necessary.
