Perform residential HVAC service, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance throughout Austin, Texas
Travel within the greater Austin area to residential and light commercial locations
Conduct diagnostic testing and inspections to identify HVAC system issues
Repair or replace faulty HVAC components including compressors, motors, thermostats, and fans
Perform routine HVAC maintenance such as filter cleaning, lubrication of moving parts, and electrical inspections
Calibrate and program HVAC systems to support optimal performance and energy efficiency
Troubleshoot heating and cooling system malfunctions including airflow issues, refrigerant leaks, and temperature regulation concerns
Assess the overall condition of the client HVAC system and develop a case for replacement when applicable
Generate replacement leads and help facilitate turnover appointments for a sales specialist to present replacement options
Accurately document diagnostic findings, repairs completed, parts used, and customer interactions
Follow all HVAC safety standards and industry regulations while completing service work
Maintain a professional and customer focused approach when communicating with clients
Participate in ongoing HVAC training and professional development

Valid driver license with no restrictions
EPA Type 2 certification
Ability to register as a technician with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation TDLR
Advanced knowledge of electricity and refrigeration systems
Minimum 2 years of full time HVAC service experience
HVAC schooling preferred but not required
Ability to pass a background check
Authorization to work in the United States
Work Schedule:
Normal schedule is 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Candidates must be available to work weekends
Weekend coverage is typically 1 weekend per month
On-Call Expectations:
There is a rotating on-call schedule
On-call service can run until 9:30 PM
On-call coverage is typically split across the team rather than having one person cover a full week
Weekend on-call days can run up to a 12-hour shift, depending on workload
