Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of residential electrical systems to identify and resolve issues effectively
  • Conduct on-site estimates for electrical services, evaluating the scope of work and providing accurate cost estimates
  • Communicate directly with customers, understanding their electrical needs and providing clear explanations of recommended solutions
  • Collaborate with customers to address any questions or concerns regarding electrical services and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Execute electrical repairs, installations, and upgrades in residential properties, adhering to safety protocols and electrical codes
  • Install, repair, or replace electrical components such as outlets, switches, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels
  • Ensure proper documentation of work performed, including detailed reports, job orders, and customer information
  • Maintain professionalism and a customer-centric approach when interacting with clients throughout the service process
  • Provide guidance and advice to customers on electrical maintenance, energy efficiency, and potential upgrades for their residential properties
  • Stay updated on industry trends, electrical codes, regulations, and best practices in residential electrical services
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work schedules and maintain efficient workflow
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and professional environment for oneself and others

Job requirements

  • Demonstrates efficiency in completing tasks and delivering high-quality work
  • Possesses excellent customer communication skills, including active listening and effective verbal and written communication
  • Previous experience working independently in a service truck is preferred
  • Must have a good driving record with no history of DUIs or reckless driving incidents
  • Successfully pass a background check with no felony convictions
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Experienced in the field with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Familiarity with using various tools, equipment, and technology related to the role
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Adherence to safety protocols and regulations
  • Willingness to adapt to changing work environments and handle job responsibilities in different locations
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
