Responsibilities

Service, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
Inspect, maintain, and repair drain and sewer systems to ensure proper functioning.
Perform septic system maintenance, including inspections, pumping, and repairs as needed.
Utilize plumbing tools, equipment, and technology to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
Communicate with clients to explain plumbing problems, proposed solutions, and associated costs.
Provide accurate estimates and quotes for plumbing services and obtain client approval before starting work.
Install, replace, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and components as required.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all plumbing service activities.
Keep accurate records of service calls, work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working conditions.
Stay updated on plumbing codes, regulations, and industry advancements through ongoing training and education.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure effective communication and efficient workflow.
Participate in on-call rotations for emergency plumbing services outside regular working hours, including evenings and weekends.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and ensuring complete satisfaction with the plumbing services provided.

Job requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
A strong desire and drive to learn, including a willingness to be cross-trained in other trades
Tech-savvy and comfortable with technical problem-solving
Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with homeowners and providing professional education on available options
Prior experience in servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing drain, plumbing, and septic systems
Possession of your own tools necessary to complete job tasks
Valid driver's license
A strong work ethic, readiness to work, and ability to handle physical demands, including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, crawling, and standing for extended periods
Professional appearance, cleanliness, and grooming
Commitment to safety, both for yourself and the team and a refusal to engage in unsafe practices
1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States
