With more than 30 fully stocked vehicles, our fleet is available to quickly respond to emergency plumbing situations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your emergency plumber should arrive within two hours or less depending on your location and situation.

Responsibilities

• Qualifying client and job.
• Listening to client requests
• Diagnosing client plumbing problems and issues. Perform cost analysis on all repairs/replacement options.
• Works up cost estimate anticipating unforeseeable and variables based on job and client requirements. Adds appropriate markup and produces professional proposal.
• Providing clients with proposals for best value including all materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors as well as ancillary items such as permits while maximizing all available options to reach our company goals of profit and satisfaction.
• Completing administrative tasks daily.
• Following up with clients on pending proposals and tracking acceptance rates/reasons.
• Communicating all accepted jobs and paperwork with dispatch and making sure that client credit and or payment information is complete prior to starting any job including existing clients.
• Each morning arrives at work and inspects all materials pertaining to his scheduled jobs for the day. He lines out the field crew that will be performing the job and communicates any changes in scope. Occasionally a visit to the job is necessary to show the plumber how the job was bid and how it is intended to be performed. 
• Communicating with teams during the day and depending on the job visits the job site for quality control.
• Communicating and completing all jobs in coordination with dispatch and is responsible for customer satisfaction from the first client contact through the completion of the job. The estimator communicates with the client before during and after the job to keep them fully informed of the progress and to get any necessary approvals for any change orders that may arise during the performance of the job.

• Journeyman or Master Plumber certification
• 6-10 years of Commercial repair and estimating experience
• Enjoy working with customers and possess excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in using MS Office and other computer software
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction math
• Clean driving record
• Preferably located and working in the Houston area
• Strong knowledge of the Houston area and existing contacts with clients and building departments is a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
