Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior Plumbers: Work alongside experienced plumbers to learn the trade and gain hands-on experience.
  • Tools and Equipment: Familiarize yourself with plumbing tools and equipment, and ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Pipe Installation: Assist in the installation of water, gas, and drainage systems in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Pipe Repairs: Help identify and repair leaks and damaged pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems.
  • Fixture Installation: Assist in the installation of sinks, toilets, faucets, and other plumbing fixtures.
  • Drain Cleaning: Assist in clearing clogged drains using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Follow Codes and Regulations: Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, such as low water pressure and temperature fluctuations.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, providing information and answering questions about plumbing services.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
  • Learn Plumbing Systems: Understand the layout and operation of plumbing systems within buildings.
  • Maintenance: Assist in routine maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent issues and prolong their lifespan.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to assist in responding to plumbing emergencies, such as burst pipes or gas leaks.
  • Continued Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices by attending training sessions and workshops.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other members of the plumbing team to complete projects efficiently.
  • Clean Work Area: Keep the work area clean and organized before, during, and after plumbing tasks.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Be able to lift and carry heavy plumbing materials and equipment as needed.
  • Time Management: Manage your time effectively to complete tasks within deadlines.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing the plumbing company.

Job requirements

  • Knowledge of the State code is necessary
  • 1-2 years of relevant professional experience 
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Upon onboarding, candidates will be asked to submit a background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
