$24–$30 per hour (based on skills and experience)

At our Salem, OR facility, you’ll step into a fast-paced, hands-on position supporting coatings and production operations in a steel fabrication shop. This isn’t a sit-around-and-watch kind of job. You’ll be in the middle of the action, helping prep, move, and finish steel parts that power utility and telecom projects across the country. If you're dependable, safety-minded, and ready to roll up your sleeves, this could be the place for you.
Prep materials for coatings and assist with spraying applications
Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and cutting equipment
Load and unload flatbed trucks using forklifts and by hand
Move, organize, and handle steel parts throughout the shop
Perform basic machine maintenance and support production staff
Keep the shop clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required
Report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately
Work closely with welders, fabricators, and shift leads to keep production moving

At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, or heavy materials
Able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable working in outdoor and shop environments with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
Basic knowledge of shop safety and use of protective equipment
Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus
