Your New Role

• Review project specifications, construction drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to define scope of work in San Antonio, TX

• Prepare detailed material takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial HVAC and MEP projects

• Evaluate labor, materials, and subcontractor pricing to develop competitive bids

• Identify risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities before proposal submission

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, project managers, and design teams to ensure accurate estimates

• Assist with proposal development and support project handoff to operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

• 0 to 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating

• Experience with MEP estimating required

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents

• Proficiency with estimating software such as BuildingConnected, On-Center, CostOS, and Microsoft Office

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical thinking

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements

• Certified Professional Estimator credential is a plus
